Grucci and his team have invested nearly 4,000 man-hours to ensure that the fireworks display is nothing short of spectacular. To achieve this, they have employed 66 power technicians to manage the electrical circuits and programming required for a seamless show.

This year's celebration is themed "more in 24," which hints at exciting new additions and surprises for attendees. One such addition includes 24 karat-looking golden glitter comet effects, which are sure to leave onlookers awestruck as they light up the night sky.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, the brand-new Fontainebleau Las Vegas will participate in the fireworks extravaganza for the first time. The hotel joins the ranks of other renowned casinos and hotels such as MGM Grand, ARIA, Planet Hollywood, and others, all of which will be launching fireworks simultaneously at midnight.

As the clock strikes midnight, the sky will come alive with over 12,000 gold-colored fireworks in an 8-minute long show. The display will be a testament to the dedication and hard work of the organizers, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the New Year's Eve celebration in Las Vegas will be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

Safety First: LVMPD and National Guard to Secure Vegas New Year's Eve

Las Vegas is gearing up for an enormous New Year's Eve celebration, anticipating a massive crowd of 400,000 people on the Strip and downtown. With such an incredible turnout, the city's primary focus is on ensuring the safety of all attendees. Adjutant General Ondra Berry has expressed confidence in a secure and enjoyable event, as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) collaborates with various agencies to maintain public safety.

In this monumental effort, approximately 200 Nevada National Guard soldiers, in uniform, will be stationed at key locations to manage crowd control and handle any emergencies that may arise. This deployment marks nearly two decades of the Nevada National Guard's dedication to ensuring safe celebrations in the city, a testament to their commitment to the community.

To support the event's safety, certain restrictions are in place. Glass bottles, large bags exceeding 12x12x6 inches, strollers, and carts are prohibited on the Strip. The Nevada National Guard encourages the public to interact with the soldiers on duty, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity during this festive occasion.

Transportation services have been adjusted to accommodate the influx of revelers. The monorail will run continuously from 7 a.m. on New Year's Eve until 2 a.m. on January 2, offering rides for just $1 to Nevadans. Additionally, Lyft is providing a $5 discount for trips on New Year's Eve, ensuring that everyone can travel safely and efficiently during the celebration. These measures aim to alleviate traffic, as Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed from Spring Mountain Road to Tropicana Avenue, starting at 4:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

After the festivities come to a close, a team of 15 street sweepers will work diligently to clean the Strip, typically collecting 10-12 tons of trash, according to Clark County Commissioner James Gibson. This impressive cleanup effort is a testament to the city's commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents and visitors.
