No Kill Las Vegas President Bryce Henderson sheds light on the two primary factors contributing to this issue: fireworks causing dogs to flee in fear and the unfortunate abandonment of pets given as gifts.

The Animal Foundation in Clark County has reported a staggering 35% increase in intake compared to the previous year. This year, the organization has taken in a total of 458 animals, a sharp rise from the 340 animals recorded last year. This number encompasses strays, owner surrenders, and confiscations.
