⚖️ Prince Law Group Closes Doors Two Months After Tragic Shooting Claims Lives of Founders

The Prince Law Group, a firm located in the City National Bank Building at 10801 W. Charleston Blvd., announced its closure on Monday, two months after a tragic shooting incident that claimed the lives of its founder, Dennis Prince, and his wife, Ashley Prince. The firm had opened its doors exactly five years ago on June 3, 2019.

In a statement posted on the firm's website, it was mentioned, "While we hoped to continue Dennis's legacy, we simply could not persevere without him. It has been our pleasure to represent so many deserving clients over the past five years."

The shooting incident occurred during a deposition at Dennis Prince's office on April 8, where Joseph Houston, the 77-year-old father of Ashley Prince's former husband, Dylan Houston, shot and killed Dennis and Ashley Prince. Joseph Houston then took his own life.

Dennis Prince, a prominent civil litigator in Nevada, was a father of four, including a newborn baby he had with Ashley Prince. His firm focused on personal injury, insurance law, and commercial law.

The statement on the firm's website also expressed gratitude to the attorneys and staff of Prince Law Group, stating, "In spite of this tragedy, they have showed bravery and resilience beyond measure. We are forever grateful for their hard work and dedication in bringing the firm to an honorable close."

🏒 Florida Panthers Reach Stanley Cup Final for Second Consecutive Year

The Florida Panthers have once again secured a spot in the Stanley Cup Final, marking their second consecutive appearance. This achievement comes after defeating the New York Rangers in six games. Their next opponent will be the Edmonton Oilers, who recently eliminated the Dallas Stars in six games.

The first game of the Stanley Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Sam Bennett, the Panthers' center, expressed the team's determination, saying, "It starts with training camp and the belief in this group that we weren’t going to be satisfied with just getting to the Cup Final. We put in a lot of hard work to get back here. It took a lot, but we’re not satisfied yet. We still have a job to do."

This year's path to the Stanley Cup Final was significantly different from the previous year, where the Panthers, as a Cinderella team, won the Eastern Conference despite starting as the No. 8 seed. However, their magic ran out in the final series against the Golden Knights, who dominated the series and won their first championship in five games.

The Panthers' success this year can be attributed to several factors. Firstly, the team's health has been a significant factor. Key players like Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Reinhart have been able to stay in the lineup for most of the season, a stark contrast to last year's challenges with injuries.

Secondly, the team's strong defense has played a crucial role in their success. The Panthers have allowed three goals or fewer in all but three of their playoff games, demonstrating their defensive prowess.

Lastly, the team's roster building has been instrumental in their success. The acquisition of Tkachuk in a blockbuster deal with the Calgary Flames in July 2022, similar to the Knights' key trades for Mark Stone and Jack Eichel, has been a game-changer. Additionally, smaller moves like picking up Gustav Forsling off the waiver wire and signing Oliver Ekman-Larsson after he was bought out by the Vancouver Canucks have also contributed to the team's success.

The Panthers are only the third team in the last 45 years to reach the Stanley Cup Final after losing it the year before, a testament to their resilience and determination. Their journey to the final is a testament to their hard work and the effective strategies employed by the team's management.

🕵️ Live Nation Probes Ticketmaster Data Breach

Live Nation is currently investigating a data breach at its subsidiary, Ticketmaster, which holds a dominant position in the ticketing market for live events in the United States. The breach was first reported on May 27 when a "criminal threat actor" offered to sell Ticketmaster data on the dark web.

The hacking group ShinyHunters has claimed responsibility for the breach, according to other media reports. They are reportedly seeking $500,000 for the data, which includes sensitive information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and partial credit card details of millions of Ticketmaster customers.

Live Nation, headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, is a major player in the entertainment industry, especially in Las Vegas. It has exclusive partnerships at prominent venues like Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau. Additionally, it owns two venues in Las Vegas: House of Blues at Mandalay Bay and Brooklyn Bowl at Linq Promenade.

Both Live Nation and Ticketmaster have not responded to requests for comments regarding the breach.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Live Nation stated that it is actively working to mitigate risks to its users and is cooperating with law enforcement officials. The company believes that the breach is unlikely to have a significant impact on its overall business operations.

The investigation comes at a time when the U.S. Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against Live Nation and Ticketmaster, accusing them of running an illegal monopoly over live events in America. The department is seeking a court order to break up the system, which it claims limits competition and leads to increased prices for fans.

🎶 iHeartRadio Music Festival Returns with Star-Studded Lineup

The iHeartRadio Music Festival is set to make a grand return to T-Mobile Arena on September 20-21, promising a unique blend of musical talents from various genres. This year's lineup includes a diverse range of artists such as Doja Cat, New Kids on the Block, Gwen Stefani, The Black Crows, Shaboozey, Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Hozier, Keith Urban, Paramore, Thomas Rhett, and Victoria Monét.

The event will once again be live-streamed on Hulu, allowing fans across the country to tune in. Ryan Seacrest, the congenial host, will be back to guide the audience through the show. Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets will be available to the general public on AXS.com starting at 8 a.m. Pacific time on June 11.

Among the confirmed artists, Gwen Stefani and Keith Urban have both headlined residencies on the Las Vegas Strip. Urban is set to return with his "High In Vegas" series at BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau, scheduled for October 4-12 and February 14-22.

Each night, the show will broadcast live for fans via iHeartMedia radio stations across the country. A list of these stations can be found at iheartiheartmedia.com/stations. iHeartMedia operates radio stations in more than 150 markets nationwide, including several in Las Vegas such as Jammin’ 105.7, 95.5 The Bull, 102.7 VGS, 107.9 Coyote Country, Latino Mix 99.3 FM, Real 103.9 hip-hop/R&B, and KNPR 88.9 Nevada Public Radio.

The iHeartRadio Music Festival has been a September tradition in Las Vegas since its debut at MGM Grand Garden in 2011. The show moved to T-Mobile Arena in 2016. However, there are no announced plans to bring back the Daytime Stage, a popular Saturday festival showcase, for this year's event.

The festival typically coincides with the Life is Beautiful Festival in downtown Las Vegas. However, it appears that the iHeartRadio Music Festival will not overlap with Life is Beautiful this year. Word is that Life is Beautiful intends to run at the Plaza on September 27-28, but there has been no formal announcement of those plans yet.
